Atomic Physics 2024

International Workshop on Atomic Physics
25 - 29 November 2024

In the first half of the week (Mon-Wed) talks will present topics of general interest in atomic physics.

The focus days (Wed-Fri) will be devoted to "Fluctuation-induced phenomena”. Correlated classical and quantum fluctuations can give rise to forces in constrained systems such as in liquid mixtures near critical points, or Casimir-type forces derived from fluctuations of the quantum vacuum. The focus days will survey the recent developments in fluctuation-induced phenomena, ranging from theoretical foundations to experimental verification.

As in the past, we will have a poster session for all participants including a sneak preview.

The workshop will take place from Monday noon to Friday noon. (Arrival on Sunday afternoon is possible.)

We will select some speakers from the poster contributions received to give an oral presentation on their work.

Invited speakers include
