Correlations and Topology

The Correlations and Topology group is looking for post-doctoral researchers and doctoral students.

Correlations and Topology is a condensed matter theory research group formed recently and shared jointly between the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems and the Max Planck Institute for the Chemical Physics of Solids based in Dresden.

We focus on finding novel topological phases of matter, characterizing them, and bringing them to experimental realization. We also therefore work to identify key ingredients of materials for realization of topologically non-trivial phases of matter, and work to understand these phenomena themselves for fundamental understanding and applications. Further information about our research can be found in the Research section.

If you are interested in ground-breaking research into topologically non-trivial phases with an emphasis on close ties to experiment, please get in touch! Check the "Join us" section of our group for more details.
