Master- and Diploma Theses
We always have projects available - please contact us!
Joining us for a postdoc is possible at any time. Postdoctoral positions are awarded on a competitive basis through the guest program of our institute.
We are seeking two PhD candidates to work on "Interacting Rydberg atoms interfaced (Coherence and Entanglement)". The goal of this theoretical project, which is part of the DFG Priority Program 'Giant Interactions in Rydberg Systems (GiRyd)', is to establish ultracold Rydberg units as a model platform for the systematic study of the evolution of coherence and entanglement properties of a well defined correlated quantum system interfaced with a complex many-body quantum system. Beside the two PhD candidates, one postdoc and two experienced supervisors (Drs Eisfeld and Rost) will be part of the team.
Participation in the International Max Planck Research School on Dynamics of Atoms, Molecules and Solids will be offered.
Please send your application (CV, 2 letters of reference and a short description of your research experience) electronically to Professor JM Rost (rost (at) pks.mpg.de). Positions are available immediately but the search will continue until the positions are filled.
