Interacting Rydberg atoms interfaced (Coherence and Entanglement).

The goal of this theoretical project, which is part of the DFG Priority Program Giant Interactions in Rydberg Systems (GiRyd), is to establish ultracold Rydberg units as a model platform for the systematic study of the evolution of coherence and entanglement properties of a well defined correlated quantum system interfaced with a complex many-body quantum system. Beside two PhD candidates, one postdoc and two experienced supervisors will be part of the team.
