Physics and Collective Dynamics of Future Mobility

International Focus Workshop
9 - 11 March 2022

Human mobility and transport in urban and rural areas fundamentally underlie all aspects of modern societies. We aim at consolidating interdisciplinary quantitative research on understanding collective transport dynamics to tackle current challenges of sustainable transport, striving to connect theoretical concepts to practical applications.

Topics include

  • human mobility
  • sustainable transport
  • ride-sharing
  • mobility-as-a-service
  • collective traffic dynamics
  • evolution of cities
  • urban vs. rural mobility
  • data acquisition
  • game theory
  • platform economics
  • electric vehicles
  • bikeability

We plan for a hybrid focus workshop with a number of participants on-site and the others connected via video conference.
For accepted participants, online attendance will be possible in any case. The organizers will decide and inform about an option of on-site attendance at a later stage.
