Quantum thermalization, localization, and constrained dynamics with interacting ultracold atoms

International Workshop
6 - 8 December 2023

Understanding the non-equilibrium physics of closed quantum systems is a key problem in quantum statistical physics. Experiments with ultra-cold atoms in optical lattices provide a unique means of studying the whole range of ergodic systems, localization and systems with constrained dynamics. This workshop will cover experimental and theoretical progress in these research areas and will provide students with introductory lectures into the field. This event is the kick-off meeting of DFG Research Unit FOR 5522 on Quantum Thermalization, Localization, and Constrained Dynamics with Interacting Ultracold Atoms.
